Irish Philadelphia Community Reception

It was a testament to all she has accomplished that on Thursday August 10th at the Free Library, The Irish Community of Philadelphia came together to bid a fond farewell to Barbara Jones the Consul General of Ireland. Her tenure from 2014-2017 has come to an end and she will be greatly missed by all she served, especially here in Philadelphia. Barbara will assume the role of Irish Ambassador to Mexico, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Peru and Venezuela. Go ‘n-eiri an bothar lei’.
